My Homemade Salsa

I love Mexican food. It's my all time favorite. I've been making salsa since I was in college, I've been perfecting this recipe for the last few years. Here's my salsa recipe, and it's my fave.

Andrea's Homemade Salsa

1 16 oz can of crushed tomatoes (no salt added)

1 red onion chopped

1 bunch of red radishes

1 handful of cilantro chopped

1 lime juiced

1 jalepeno pepper (seeds & all)

Put all your ingredients except the cilantro & lime in the food processor and pulse on medium speed until all blended. Once blended add in the cilantro and lime. Taste, add salt if needed. I don't usually add salt but you can if you'd like. If you'd like less heat take out half the seeds of the pepper.

Homemade Taco Seasoning

I love making my own sauces and seasonings. A friend of mine shared her recipe for homemade taco seasoning with me a while ago. It's so good, and I've used it on more than just Mexican dishes. Full of lots of flavors and you probably already have these spices in your pantry.

I keep mine in an air tight glass container stored in my pantry. Here's how you can make your own,

HOMEMADE TACO SEASONING

6 Tablespoons of chili powder

5 teaspoons of paprika

4.5 teaspoons of cumin

2.5 teaspoons onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/2 teaspoon black pepper
