J U N E Goals.

Hello June! You're gonna be good! School is out and Ava is done till the Fall. Which we're super excited to spend this Summer together before she officially begins school full time this Fall as a kindergartener. It's so crazy to think that she'll be starting that season soon.

This month we have Ava's dance recital, a friend's wedding and some family coming into town. Plus, I'm excited to start working on making our house a home! So let's get to this month's goals:

01// Whole30 Round 2! - I'm doing another round of Whole30 this month. This time with my husband and my mom! So fun to have them doing it with me this time. I think there's great accountability in this as well. Things are always easier with a friend.

02// Do the 30 Day Shred - I have been working out 3x per week for a while now, but with the jump start of Whole30 this month I want to also challenge myself to work out every day for 30 days straight!

03// Paint the House - Our whole house needs to be painted! I hope to get it all done this month so I can start working on other things.

04// Weekend Getaway w/ Orion - We've been wanting to get away just the two of us for a while. We haven't been on a trip just the two of us for 6 years! That's nut and awful on our part. This month we're gonna make it happen.

05// Pay off Debt - We've been slowly plugging away this year at paying off our debts. This month we hope to pay off our car and some medical debt.

What are your goals for the month? Tell me in the comments below, let's encourage one another to tackle JUNE like crazy!

MAY Goals.

Oh goodness! How can April be already over? I can't take it. This year is moving by way to quickly. April just totally got away from me. We put on home on the market at the end of March and it went under contract in 5 days! 5 days! It was nuts. We spent the next three weeks house hunting. We put in several offers on homes, and got out bid or not picked on several. We looked some more and are currently under contract pending our home sells. It's a tricky process needing to sell one home before purchasing another.

I caught a brief  and much needed break at the end of April when I spent 5 days with the Thrive Moms Leadership team! These mamas, oh man..... I'm so glad they're in my life. I can't wait to share more of my trip with you.

So here's the thing April was busy. It was good to me. I read a couple new books, things are moving along with the home buying process, I planned blog posts and go ahead of that game. I started packing my home to move.

Looking towards May I've got two simple goals. This month is going to be crazy, we're set to close on both homes the end of May. In between that Ava is finishing Pre-K, she's got a kinder screening for her new school, I'm coordinating a wedding this weekend. And we have to pack and move our entire house + do some minor repairs on our current home. I'm tired just thinking about it all.

My goals for MAY:

1. Purge + Clean // This is a must when moving. I'm excited to purge my closet. I'm having some friends over Monday and I'm gonna just let them pick through and take what they want from the items I'm getting rid of. The leftovers will go to Goodwill.

2. Pack + Move // I've already started packing. I've got 22 days to finish the rest.

What are some of your goals for the month? Share them in the comments below.

APRIL Goals

Ok, so now that the month of April is almost over I felt like it was time to share them with you! LOL.

I wrote down my goals at the beginning of the month, and then life got crazy and I realized today I never shared them with you. So for the sake of accountability here we go!

1. Sell Our Home- this is HUGE. We've been talking about putting our home on the market for a few months now, we have some reasons. Well at the end of March we decided to list our home. So this month our goal is get it sold. I'll share more on this later.

2. Read 1 new book- Currently reading What Keeps You Up at Night by Pete Wilson. It's so good. I'm hoping to do a lot more reading this month because of travel, and airplanes and airports are always great reading places.

3. Catch Up and plan blog calendar- There's so much I need to catch up on. Videos I need to edit, posts that I need to finish, etc. I'm hoping to chip away at a huge chunk.

4. Save for vacation- Our vacation is paid for in full already. However, I would like to start saving for spending money to take on vacation this month from now until we head on vacation.

5. Go on two dates with Orion

6. Continue to pay down debt- This is something we've been working on. Each month we get a little closer to being completely debt free besides our mortgage. That makes us happy campers.

MARCH Goals.

February is over guys. Can you believe it? I thought I'd take a moment to re-cap the month of February before we jump into March goals.

February I had 4 simple goals, but they were big goals. First up, I completed my very first Whole30 experience. This was a big goal this month and I knew it was going to be challenging, it was and it proved to be a learning time for me as well, more on this in another video update.

I finished a couple books this month The Nesting Place & It Starts with Food. We worked on a house project this month, we're working on re-doing our master bath. So we refinished the bathroom vanity, can't wait to show you that soon. And lastly, I planned a date for my husband. Which is always fun to take over and plan something.

March is typically a busy month for us, it's Ava's birthday is this month and we usually have family coming into town. However this year, we don't have family coming to visit. We'll still be celebrating her birthday and some other fun family events, so I'm looking forward to March!

MARCH Goals.

01// Read 1 new book.

Duh.

02// Design 1 new shop product.

I've been dreaming and writing down a lot of new ideas for shop products. I'm hoping to roll out at least  few new prints this month, and one other fun product.

03// Do 1 creative project.

It's been a long time since I made something for my home. This month I want to work on at least one creative project for my home.

04// Finish Master bath vanity project.

Vanity done. Now we need to work on framing that mirror.

05// Finish Planning for Ava's birthday party.

Plan and execute. That's the plan for this month. I'm excited to show you goodies from her "modern" Elsa party coming up.

What are your goals for the month of March? I'd love to hear them below.

A Day in February.

I love documenting life, I consider myself the family memory keeper. Recording a 'day in our lives' once a month is not only fun but also a great way for us to look back on that season and see what we were up to.

My kids love filming videos with me too. This day in the life video is a bit longer than usual only because my kids got super involved. I filmed this last week, I hope you enjoy it.

Tell me, how do you keep memories for your family. What are your favorite ways? Do you like recording videos as well? Tell me in the comments below.
