4. dutch oven | 1. ring door bell | 2. ring door bell + echo dot deal | 6. echo dot | 5. kids fire tablet | 3. softest sheets ever

Many of these items we have in our own home, and they’ve been tried and true products for us. These sheets are the softest ever, they are under $40 and I have two sets for my king size bed!

I think a dutch oven is an essential for any kitchen, I got mine two years ago and I use it almost every single night to cook! It’s great for soups, and pasta and really just about anything. You won’t regret this purchase, and this is a good deal on one. Plus, this one comes in a few colors to choose from.

We have had the Ring door bell on our last house, and then we got another one for our current home and we love it and the security of it! This one is a great deal, and if you want a good bundle get the one that comes with the echo dot here.

We love the Echo dot in our home, and this one is under $20 - making it a great Christmas gift! I love that you can sync them together if you have them in different room and they can become an intercom. We love using them for alarms, streaming music and podcasts- there’s so much you can do with these devices.

This back seat cover is a life saver, we love ours for protecting our seats. We use it with our kiddos more than anything. My blue light blocking glasses are on sale 2 for $12. Grab them here.

A few more deals I saw that I loved and thought were a great deal but don’t actually own are:

These leggings are highly rated, and an amazing deal. These packing cubes for travel are a great deal for Prime Day too.

For my party peeps, I’ve had my eye on this electric balloon pump for a while and it’s on major Prime Day Sale!

January Amazon Faves | 2020

I’m back with more Amazon faves! Amazon continues to be a great source for me to find awesome things for my home and lifestyle. January I found some awesome things that I can’t wait to share with you!

First up, these lunch box notes! I wanted to find something fun and cute to put into my kids lunches to show them love during the day when I can’t be with them. They’ve been loving finding these little surprises in the boxes.

I found this bundle of hair clips for less than $15! My daughter has been loving all these different designs, they are really affordable too and you get 68 clips!

I’m always finding clothing on Amazon, saving them to list and coming back to them later. This black blouse was one of those finds. I waited and scored this one for under $10! I also broke my charger for my phone over Christmas and my brother suggested a wireless one, and I found one on Amazon and I’ve been loving it.

These True Lemon packets are crystalized dried lemon, to flavor your water! I’ve been loving them. They are helping me drink more and more water too.

The Conair Fabric shaver has been the best find! My furniture had gotten some pilling on the edges and this thing was amazing at shaving all that off and making them look brand new! You can check out some before and afters here.

How We Save for Big Home Purchases

Over the last two years we've been able to make significant purchases on big ticket items from our home 100% debt free! Buying big ticket items for your home can be stressful, but I've found with a little planning, research and saving they can be done. My biggest tip for this is to remain patient. Unless you have all the money the second you want to purchase an item you're gonna have to be patient in order to save funds and then make your purchases. Trust me the wait is worth it in the end. Here's my tips.

1. Find the piece you like & save for it!

This is easy and obvious! Once you find something you like put away some money each month or week until you have the funds to pay for it in cash. We have done this several times. We've even been able to negotiate added taxes and delivery fees once we tell them we've told them we're paying with cash.

2. Use Your Tax Refund

One year we used our tax refund and bought our new couch with cash. Using your tax refund is a great way to pay for something in cash and not go into debt for your home purchases.

3. Sell What You Have and Use the Cash to Buy What You Want

When I wanted a new dining room table I sold the one we currently had on Craigslist and saved another week and then bought the one I really wanted. I've done this before several times to buy the pieces that I wanted for our home. This takes a bit of planning and patience but in the end I got a beautiful new table and felt great because we saved for it and paid cash.

4. If You Have Extra Income Save it for Your Home Purchases

This might not work for everyone but if you have any extra money coming in each month save it for the purchases you want to make. Intentionally set it aside for those things. For myself I make a bit of extra money from my Etsy shop and the blog. I've been saving it and recently used the money saved to buy a brand new dishwasher for our home.

Using these tips have helped us stay debt free in our home purchases in our home which we love! What are some of your favorite ways to save money and stay debt free? Tell me in the comments below.
